Hezzy's Tunnel

City of David Fieldtrip October 7, 2012
This is the typical landscape of hilly Israel. Houses on top of houses.

Lauren double prepared for the 3D movie and Hezekiah's Tunnel
This is my near eastern studies professor, Professor Stratford. He has the 5 cutest kids and since school was on break for Succot, his kiddos got to come along for the day. One of my favorite things is to see my awesome professors parent. So funny and endearing.

This is 3 year old Abbey who is my favorite and honorary niece for the semester. She loves everyone and her personality matches how precious she looks.
2 of Brother Schade's kids-David and Adam-and of course little Abbey getting excited for tunnel time.
In the coolest tunnel ever. King Hezekiah (701BC) built this during his reign as an aquaduct to provide water during the impending siege of the Assyrians.

While most waded in the water, Quin dove in for a leisurely swim

lesson learned: A requirement for my house in the future is to have secret tunnels.
